Jennifer Ann Kane

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Saturday July 1^st, 2023 at the age of 69 years.

Much loved mother of Adam.  Dear sister of Pamela (the late Don) Little and Dave McMullan (Pauline Eaton).  Loving aunt & god mother to Billy.  She was predeceased by her parents Gerald “Boo” and Beverly Boyt.  She will be lovingly remembered by her dear friends Diane Marcotte and Kayte Cleary and their families.

Jenny had a long career with Metro Toronto Police in Communications, she was tasked to organize the annual United Way Campaign.  After her retirement she became a counsellor for women leaving domestic abusive situations.  She also was very involved the NEWF Friends Newfoundland Dog Rescue, a cause very near to her heart.  She had an exceptional quick wit, fantastic sense of humour and was loved by many.  She will be missed!

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday July 7^th, 2023 from 10 – 11 am, Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 am.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The Durham Region Cancer Centre.
