I was also a member of the Toronto Police Service.
As a young Traffic Officer and later a Road Sergeant, to have Jen as our Dispatcher always was a good day.
Jen was one of our Best Dispatchers.
Rest in Peace Girl.

I only met Jennifer a year ago when I moved to Lakebreeze, but was immediately taken by her kindness, and willingness to do anything to help out a neighbour. Learning that she has a lifelong history of caring for others makes it all the sadder that she is lost to us so young. Love and hugs to Adam and all her extended family from a neighbour who will miss her waves from the balcony on my dog walks and her witty Facebook posts. Rest In Peace dear girl.

We lived through more than 20 years of Newfoundland hijinks, some funny, some not. Together, we experienced the most extraordinary adventures, though we live more than 1000 miles apart. We built a friendship that can never be broken and will continue until the end of time. I feel so honored to call you my friend. The memory of all that we shared will stay with me until I come to meet you. Fly quickly and safely to your new home and be sure to greet all the dogs that wait patiently for us to follow. Jane from Kansas - the Land of Ahhhs.

My sincere condolences to Jen’s family and close friends. Adam, your Mom was a very special Lady. Her wit, intellect and grand sense of humour regaled us all in the Radio Room. Her empathy for others showed in her work and attitude. Jenny was like a Mother Hen to all the newbies, making them feel comfortable at their new jobs. Jenny cared about everyone…Adam particularly about you. ( Her heart). Jenny will be missed by so many. You have left behind a legacy in all you have done. I shall miss you “JBK”. Love you, Kiddo. Time to Rest In Peace. Pâté.

It’s really hard to sum up Jen. She was such a strong advocate for her beloved Newfies, such a loving and supportive mother to Adam, and such a supportive friend to so many of us as we walked through various trials in life. I am so, so sorry for your loss, Adam. Your Mom was really one in a million and she will be so deeply missed by all the other crazy Newf people.
