Today I found out my dear friend Deirdre passed away. My heart is truly broken. Deirdre and I kept in touch for several years and had not seen each other in a few years but I truly can say that Deirdre was a awesome person and i am truly blessed to have known her. My heart goes out to the family for their loss. She will always be remembered by her friend Scott Ratcliffe

Deirdre came into our lives as a neighbour and a friend when we lived in Ottawa and in Toronto.
She was such an inspiration as a mother, a lover of animals big and small, our favourite dental hygienist, a hostess with flair welcoming visitors with warmth a cup of tea or a glass of wine.
