Obituary of Nancy Thompson

(nee Darrach) Age 70 years After a brave and lengthy battle with PSP, Nancy passed away at home surrounded by her family and God’s love on Saturday March 14th, 2015. Beloved wife of Ron Thompson. Dear mother of Debbie (Steve) MacVicar, Kim (Mark) Bradley and Susan (Greg) Storey. Loving grandma to Laura, Atticus, Johnathan, Suzanne, Hope, Austin, Chase and Jack. Dear sister of Shirley Robbins, Bob (Arlene) Darrach, Pat (Hugh) Little, Jim (Margie) Darrach, Peggy (Don) Rogers, George Darrach and Joe (April) Darrach. An active member of St. Paul’s United Church and longtime employee of Pineridge Automotive, Nancy enjoyed being with her family and time with her grandchildren. As a regular fan at the baseball field and friend to so many, Nancy will be terribly missed by all.

Service

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street Bowmanville on Friday March 20, 2015 from 2 – 4 & 7 -9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 178 Church Street, on Saturday March 21, 2015 at 11 am. Memorial Donations may be made to the Memorial Hospital Foundation- Bowmanville, St. Paul’s United Church or a Charity of your Choice.
