(nee Battams) Age 57 years After a valiant battle with cancer peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Tuesday July 17, 2012. Cherished daughter of the late Verna & Conley Battams. Loving mother of Jackie (Brandon) Mitchell, Lisa-Marie (D’Arcy) Cooper and the late Raquel. Amazing grandma of Catherine, Jordan, Riley, Alyssa and Emma-Leigh. She will be missed by her partner, David Burley, his sons, Matthew & Cody and his grandson, Isaac. Loving sister of Connie (Michael) Schulze, Krista (John) Kingelin, Shelley (Lloyd) Gifford, Jackie (the late Tom) MacDonald, Kim (Ron) Raynard, Clayton (Tracey) Battams, Robin (Jill) Battams and Nicky Day. Best friend to Linda Dowdall, Judy Sutherland and Kelsea Dowdall.
