Obituary of Colin Matthews

Age 81 years Peacefully passed away at Scarborough General Hospital on Saturday December 24, 2016. Beloved husband and life partner of Ann for over 64 years. Loving father of Wayne (Lee) and Tina (Mike). Dear granddad of Caitlin (Juan) and Quinn (Amber). Brother of Gerald and the late Ernest. Fondly remembered by Wilma Groen and Angela Godfrey. A Celebration of Colin's life will take place at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME on Saturday January 7th, 2017 from 2 - 4 pm, with words of remembrance shared at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to OneWalk to Conquer Cancer (Princess Margaret Breast Cancer Foundation). Tina, Wayne and 3 others have registered for the Toronto 25km walk for Sept. 2017. Please go to the www.onewalk.ca website select Toronto 2017, then select "Donate". Enter either Tina Matthews (participant # 130888-6) or Wayne Matthews (participant # 1317844) and follow the prompts. The team name is: Think Pink! (all donations over $10.00 will receive a tax receipt from Princess Margaret Foundation). Colin was a proud supporter of our efforts.
