Obituary of Daryl Raymond MacDonald

A longtime resident of both St. Catharines & Oshawa, Daryl MacDonald passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 2nd, 2016 in his 83rd year. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth & Donald MacDonald, Daryl will be lovingly missed by his devoted family. His wife, Lois, son Darren and his daughter Mary-Ellen and their spouses Andrea and Christopher. Daryl was a proud grandpa to his pride and joy: Matthew, Jessica, Nicholas & Mitchell. A four time Olympic athlete, Daryl lived his life with strength, perseverance, courage, kindness and dedication to his family, which he exemplified through his service to his church and others. Daryl was an executive with General Motors during his career which spanned 40 years, both in St. Catharines and Oshawa.
