Obituary of John Leslie Taylor

Retired Teacher from Sinclair Secondary School Age 65 years Peacefully passed away at home on Friday October 1, 2010. Beloved husband of Kirsten for 45 years. Dear father of Todd (Barb) and Kirsten (Rick). Loving grandpa of Samantha, Brian and Aaron. Brother of Shirley (Don), Judy (Ron). George (Jan), Bill (Ila) and the late Robert “Bob” (Arlene). Cherished son of the late Horace & Violet Taylor. Son-in-law of the late Tage & Lorna Christenson. Brother- in- law of Shirley (John), Thora (Rick) and Lorna (Steve). He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at the NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Thursday October 7, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday October 8, 2010 at 11am. Memorial Donations may be made to Durham District School Board for a Bursary in John’s name.
