Obituary of John James Hickey

Formerly with CN for over 30 years Lifetime Member of the Knights Of Columbus #9652 Suddenly passed away on Friday December 9, 2016 in his 88th year Beloved husband and best friend of Annie for 55 years. Dear brother of Mary Halligan, of Wexford, Ireland, Josie Codd, of Wexford, Ireland and the late Bridgette Cloney. Cherished brother-in-law of Joan Petit - Clerc, Donna (Paul) Moran and James Ashworth. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews both in Canada and Ireland. John will be sadly missed by his niece, Amelia Marie Ashworth (Rod).

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Monday December 12th, 2016 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 127 Liberty Street, Bowmanville, on Tuesday December 13th at 10 am. Memorial donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Cancer Society. Parish Prayers will be held on Monday at 7:30 pm.
