Obituary of Kathleen Margaretta Fowlie

(nee Perris) Retired employee of General Motors (26 years) and Chrysler (12 years) Peacefully passed away on Friday June 3, 2011 after a battle with cancer. She is mourned by her beloved mother, Marg Perris and her brother Larry and will be missed by many friends. Kathie was on the Executive Board of Durham Region Labour Council and Chair of CAW Eastern Women’s network for 15 years and in Local CAW 222. She has also been active in several women’s and children’s shelters. She was always involved in charity fundraisers and helping others less fortunate ~ Carin’ and Sharin’. A Memorial Service will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street N. Bowmanville on Saturday June 11th, 2011 at 11 am. Visitation will be one hour prior. Cremation has taken place. Please join us in a celebration of Kathie’s life. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations made to Wind Reach Farm (Kathie’s last fundraising effort) would be appreciated.
