Peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville, on Saturday, December 7, 2013. Son of the late Jan and Geertruida (Trudy) de Wit. Loving husband of Jean, proud father of Alan (Kerri), Colin (Kim), Jeanette, James (Teresa). Doting grandfather of 'The Magnificent Seven', Jamie (Justin), Kyle (Nicole), Christopher, Conner, Corey, Jenna, Sara. Caring brother of Jack (Judy), John, the late Jim, Yvonne (Ron), Ruth (Rob). He will be sadly missed by his extended family, friends and colleagues.
