Obituary of Irwin Colwell

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Mr. Irwin Colwell who passed away October 3, 2024, at the age of 77 years.  Beloved husband to Bonnie Colwell (nee Polley) for 54 years.

Cherished Dad to Kimberly Glassford (Bill) and Tanya Colwell.  Much loved Poppa to Ryan and Baylee Glassford. He will also be missed by his brother Rev. E.S. “Ted” Colwell (Molly) and brother-in-law to Rosalie Polley and Ted Polley (Wendy).  Irwin will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and family and friends. 

Irwin was the son of the late Albert and Hilda Colwell.

Visitation will on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Ebenezer United Church 1669 Courtice Rd, Courtice, ON L1E 2M9 from 10:30 am until time for the Funeral Service at 12 p.m.

Private burial to take place at the Bowmanville Cemetery.
