Ian Benjamin McCallum

Surrounded by his loving family, Ian passed away on Wednesday September 13^th, 2023 at the age of 68 years

Much loved husband of Karen, they were just about to celebrate their 41^st anniversary.  Proud dad to Darra (Sheldon) Osmond and Shae (Evan) Drake.  Adoring Papa to Isla and Greer.  Ian will be missed by his brothers Gordon (Chantal) and Derek, in-laws Susan Dunklin (Paul Million) and Lori (Mike) MacRae as well as his many nieces and nephews.  Ian loved his family regardless of extension and he will be greatly missed by Steve Nelson (Ben and Natalie) and Jackie (Norm) Murphy (Taylor and Dillon). Ian and his best friend, Piko shared an incredible bond, truly like brothers and he will be sadly missed.  From his co-workers to the racing community, he was loved in all facets of his life and will be missed by many.  Take that victory lap Ian, you deserve one last ride.

A Celebration of Ian’s life will be held at one of his favourite places, Grand Prix Event Centre at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on Saturday September 30^th from 3 – 8 pm.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation.
