Gayle Clark

(nee Robinson)

March 27, 1935 – June 1, 2023

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville

Much loved wife of the late Harold Clark and daughter of the late Lesley and Violet Robinson.  She will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandsons.

Gayle was born in Moncton, New Brunswick as a young adult she moved with a friend to London, Ontario where she met and married Harold.  Together with their 3 children they moved various places throughout Ontario.  After his death, Gayle moved to Harriston to take care of her father and spent the last few years in Bowmanville with her son Dani & daughter in law Lynn.

Gayle was always keeping busy, she created yearly Christmas stockings for her grandchildren and it seemed like she was forever decorating cakes.  Her true pride and joy was her family and she was devoted to them.  Although her grandchildren has many names for her, whether it was Gram, Nan, Grandma or Mema ~ those were the names she loved best and she will be very sorely missed.

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Monday June 5^th from 3 – 5 pm, words of remembrance will be shared at 4 pm.  Memorial Donations may be made to The Palmerston & District Hospital Foundation.
