My memory and first meeting of Cliff goes back to 1951 when a big snowstorm blocked the road in Rosedale Valley, Lacombe, AB. A group of men, including Cliff and myself, shovelled all day to clear the road. Just as we finished, the snow plow came. Other memories—staying with Cliff and Ruby at Tofield, AB when I was a student selling books and he was operating a printing company; he was the Secretary-treasurer of the Maritime SDA Conference while I was a pastor there. Over the years our paths crossed many times as we worked in different capacities of church work. My wife Yvonne and I appreciated his warm friendship and support over the years. DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO CLIFF’S FAMILY.
