Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Saturday May 20^th, 2023

Beloved husband of Carolyn and loving father of Stephanie (Stefan).  Proud Papa of Brandon (Emily) and Kayley (Brandon).  Russ is survived by his sister Ann Draycott (David) and sister-in-law Helen Voerman (the late Tammo).  Also predeceased by his brother Hendrik, sister Truusje and his parents Harry & Lupke.

Special thanks to Dr. Smerdon, Dr. Stewart and Dr. Chou for their excellent care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place and at his request, there is no service.  If you wish to donate in his memory, please consider The Dr. Charles Best Diabetic Centre, The Bowmanville Hospital Building Fund or Feed the Need Durham.  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N.
