With his loving family by his side, James passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Saturday April 15^th, 2023

Much loved husband of Sherry (nee Morrison) for almost 46 years.  Proud dad to Brandon (Katherine), Colin (Lauren) and Craig.  Cherished Papa of Ethan Adam, Tanner and Chloe.  James was a loving brother to Ron (Mary Lou) Baker and Catherine Lidstone (Mel).  He was predeceased by his parents Tom & Elaine Baker, brother Kenneth, sisters Gail Cowling and Jean Welsh.  He is survived by his brothers in law Barry Cowling and Larry Welsh, as well as many nieces, nephews and countless friends.

A Celebration of James’ life will be held at SOLINA COMMUNITY CENTRE, 1964 Concession Road 6 on Sunday April 30^th, 2023 beginning with a service at 2 pm and reception to follow.  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to an account for Craig Baker for his ongoing care (James’ youngest son) or Solina Community Centre.
