Muriel Esther Tennant 

(nee Burgess) 

Passed away peacefully at  Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on February 1st, 2023 at the age of 90 years. 

Beloved wife of the late Morley Tennant.  Much loved mother of Morley Jr. & Donna, Terry, Robby, Sherri & Mike Mahaney & Kelly & Wally Marti.  Predeceased by her children Valerie Smith, Pat Kinnear and Kevin.  Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Dianne (Ted) Sallows, Dorothy Ross, Judy MacKinnon, Betty (Charlie) Milner, Lorne Burgess, Glen Burgess, Marylou (Wayne) Wright and Jim (Pam) Burgess.  Predeceased by her parents Harold & Edith Burgess and siblings Darlene, Bruce & Bob. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 178, 109 King Street East on February 18th, 2023 from 1 – 4 pm, beginning with a Ladies Auxiliary Service at 1 pm.  Private Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.  Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation.  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville.
