Jan Willem “Bill” Canrinus

Passed away surrounded by family, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on January 16^th, 2023 at the age of 90 years.

Beloved husband of Marina (nee Peet) for almost 60 years.  Loving father of Nancy Bergeron (Greg), Albert Canrinus and Elizabeth Ann Canrinus (Carmine Forgione).  Cherished Pake of Zachary, Marlina, Nadia and David.  Dear brother of Dirk Canrinus of Holland.  Bill was predeceased by his brothers Siebe, Bouke and Jetse.

Bill was a 30 + year employee of General Motors.  He enjoyed gardening and entertaining with friends and his favourite part of the day was “happy hour”.  He will be missed but is now at peace.

At Bill’s request no funeral service will be held.  Memorial Donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society.  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville.
