Obituary of Noreen Alberta Paterson

Noreen “Nonie” Paterson

(nee Blackburn)

Surrounded by love, late in the day on December 11^th, 2022 we said our goodbyes to a beautiful and gentle soul.  Nonie was the true meaning of a lady, better known as “mom, nana, nonnie, or great-nan”.  Nonie passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

She is now reunited with the love of her life Bill.  Much loved by her three children Mike (Julie Ann), Scott (Tammy) and Anne (Jameel).  Adoring grandma of Nicholas (Amber), Cotey, Courtney (Melissa), Josh (Ashley), Rianna (Kim) and Brandon, as well as her great-grandchildren Kayleigh, Amelia, Wyatt, Echo, Blake, Aurora and Levi.  She is survived by Bill’s siblings Robert (Judy), Richard (Jan) and Marci.

She was always prepared for visitors with a coffee or tea, and one of her famous ham sandwiches.  A bright smile and a hug for her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rest in peace momma and give dad a big hug from us all.

A Memorial Service will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville on Thursday December 15^th, 2022 at 3:30 pm.  Memorial donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
