Mary Agnes Brown

On October 10^th, 2022, Mary Agnes Brown from Orono, born November 29, 1937, passed away peacefully at the age of 84.

Wife of Ray Brown, mother of George (Kathy) Reid, Pam (Pat) Roberge, Carl (Veronica) Brown, Kevin (Jennifer) Brown and step-mother of Denise (Paul) Allen.  Mary had 7 grandchildren Shawn, Sherry, Jeff, Marla, Owen, Riley and Rachel as well as 4 great-grandchildren.

Mary was a compassionate volunteer for 20 years at the Bowmanville Memorial Hospital.  She enjoyed dancing with her Ganaraska Country Cloggers and later the Modern Square Dancing.

Ray and Mary enjoyed 50 years together.  As per Mary’s wishes there will not be a funeral or service.  Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at McCrae’s Cemetery.

The Family would like to thank the staff at Hillsdale Terraces for the care given to Mary.
