Passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday October 5, 2022

Stan is now reunited with his beloved wife, Joanne (nee Kolsteren).  Loving father of Cathy & her husband Ugo Chiodo, Gerald Hamers & his wife Colleen and Connie Hamers.  Cherished Opa of Catrina (Tara), Alicia (Austin), Emma & Kate.  Stan is predeceased by his siblings Albert, John, Nelly, Riete, Annie and Leo.  Survived by his sister in law Sandra Kolsteren and nieces and nephews as well as his extended family in Holland, Gidi Hamers, Sjef Kolsteren, Ben and Thea Kolsteren, Maja Kolsteren and Annie Kolsteren.  He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his entire family and his countless friends.

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street Bowmanville on Thursday October 13^th, 2022 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at ST. FRANCIS ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 214 King Avenue East on Friday October 14^th, 2022 at 11 am.  Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.  .  Memorial Donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Newcastle Food Pantry.
