Dear Karen, Donna and families~ We were so saddened to hear of Jean's passing. She and Wally were just a great couple and my parents Jeannette and George Nugent, counted them as their friends for their entire lives. They will be so missed in the Courtice community and Ebenezer church that they loved so much. We will join you in the service today via zoom. God bless you.

Karen & family, I am so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. Her and Wally were such a sweet couple who stayed "cute" their whole lives. I used to love seeing them at the dealership and it was a pleasure to have them join us for our annual Christmas luncheon.

When I was around the age of five, I can remember going to see Aunt Jean's new home. As we toured the old farmhouse, which was in disrepair , I was scared. The house was dusty, cobwebs, needed work done. Aunt Jean kept telling my Mother to imagine the possibilities of the house. I was totally in awe of her visions for the house. Quite some time later, we went to see the house when it was finished and Aunt Jean's visions had come to be absolutely perfect. My Mother, apologized for having suggested that she let the firemen practice firefighting when she first toured the house. Aunt Jean always had a beautiful smile and kind words. My condolences to the family on the loss of Aunt Jean. May you memories bring you comfort during this difficult time.
