Raymond George Lemieux Sr.

October 9, 1929 – August 27, 2022

Surrounded by his loving family, Raymond passed away peacefully at Thorntonview Long Term Care on August 27, 2022 at the age of 92 years.

Beloved husband of the late Hazel.  Loving father of   Clayton (Celine), Raymond Jr. (Sherry) and Martin. Cherished grandpop of Bryan (Lisa), Laura (David), Sarah (John), Alanna, Leah (Andrew), Jessica and Tyler. Loving great grandfather of William, Hannah, Madison, Conor, Christopher, Lillyana, Karissa and Brooklynn. Dear brother to Ernestine, Harold, Irvine, Ursula, Sylvia, Arthur, Carmel, Constance, Kenneth and Leona. 

Raymond was a longtime automotive and diesel mechanic throughout his career as well as a skilled carpenter and general all round handyman.  He will be lovingly remembered by his entire family and many friends. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Thorntonview Long Term Care for their exceptional care and compassion.

Visitation at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville on Wednesday August 31^st from 6 – 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty St S, Bowmanville on Thursday September 1^st at 10:30 am. To view the service virtually please use the link below.  Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.
