Obituary of Norman Ewart Bragg

WWII VETERAN In his 90th year Passed away peacefully on Thursday July 29, 2010 at Centennial Place, Millbrook with his family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Eva (nee Yorke). Dearly loved wonderful father of Sandrae Haslam (Bill); Donna Dickson (Joe); Phillip (Linda); Brenda McCoy (Doug); Norma Parton (Ron); Debbie Allen (Sam); Doug (Peggy) and the late Karen White. Cherished grandpa of Nancy, Brian, Kevin, Paul, Beverly, Richard, Jim, Joanna, Melinda, Wayne, Jason, Steven, Todd, Michael, Jennifer, Michelle, Candace, Kurtis, Chelsea and great-grandpa of 30 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Bill (June) and the late Ross Bragg. Brother-in-law of Emma Bragg, Shirley Skinner (Lloyd) and Doris Geisberger (Arnold). Father-in-law of Ted White. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Special companion of Kojo and Patch. Special thanks to Dr. Liston and the staff at Centennial Place for their exceptional care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Friday July 30, 2010 from 7-9 pm. A Legion Service will be held at 6:45pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday July 31, 2010 at 2 pm. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or Central East C.C.A.C. (formerly Durham Access to Care).
