To The Mac/Stoddard team: I watched the funeral and sobbed and watched and laughed and sobbed some more but in the end, I smiled remembering-Lee's beautiful smile.
Greg's "Lee won" stuck! That was the most beautiful loving celebration of all things "Lee" anyone could imagine. Those tributes made me think of Lee as a little whiskey in a tea cup! The minister-spectacular, Max, Walker and Pete-immeasurable love and passion! The memorial tribute so pretty and tastefully done! The whole homage, was absolutely perfect. I have much gratitude that our lives and families have been intertwined. We are privileged to have know your Lee. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful soul! Lee was a wonderful neighbour to us at Kimberley Point and we are saddened by her death. Without exception our memories reflect her joyful and optimistic approach to life.
Jay has observed that Lee was particularly joyful when baking, and generous when sharing her well-stocked pantry as a reliable source for last minute cooking ingredients.
We all benefitted from her fun-loving organisational skills. Your birthday party was epic.
Lee was friendly, welcoming and inclusive to our sons Chris and Devon, and more recently our grandsons, Miles and Asher. Their emotional connection to Kimberley has been strengthened by Lee’s thoughtfulness.
Pete, we know that you, your sons, your family and Lee’s friends are heartbroken. Our solace is the memories of Lee that we will cherish. We will miss her.

Lee was the best of everything; wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend.
Lee was a fantastic cook, but I would be happy with hot dogs just to be part of her family's cherished moments sitting at the dinner table telling stories and laughing non stop.
Gone far too early, Lee gave us 10 lifetimes of love and memories. What a gift to Max and Walker.

I was sadden to read this obituary. I went to High School with Lee. She was such a lovely person, always smiling and friendly to everyone she met. In later years, I would see her at MacMillan Orchards and we always had a little catch up of which I enjoyed. She was taken way too soon, may she rest in peace. Hello Pete, Max,Walker… Our heartfelt condolences to you , Pete, your Boys ,Family and Friends. No words can convey what we are feeling right now . Sandy’s happiest memory of Lee was a story she told which reminded her of a pioneer cottage woman that could hold down a paddle boat and hook up a fighting fish without being beaten. Lee held her ground and fought the mightiest and most stubborn creatures of nature. She made Martha Stewart look like a pussy, and had the most amazing calm and grace of anyone that we knew . Lee was an amazing person during her time on this earth. Her fighting spirit will be felt forever and every moment we had with her will be a lasting memory.

An smoky exhale as her lure splashed leaving sun glistened ripples in the river. Composing her answer to the last question while cranking the reel. It was so much more than just fishing. A moment in time - connection and covering the topics of the day before serving a well thought out breakfast to those silly enough to still be sleeping when one could be fishing and having a great visit.
Respect and fond memories and a little sadness for having too few of those visits. Thankful for those that did happen.
