Leslie Evan Hugh Morrison

Leslie Morrison, 93, died 20th July, 2021 at the Glen Hill Strathaven home in Bowmanville.  His memorial service will be held at College Park SDA Church in Oshawa, where he was an active member for many years, on 21st August at 4 pm.

Leslie was born 22nd November, 1927 in Kingston, Jamaica to Pastor Leonard and Hilda Morrison.  He graduated from Pacific Union College in California with a B. Sc. degree in 1956.  He married Valerie Ryan on December 19 that same year.  They had five children before they emigrated to Toronto.  Leslie taught Industrial Arts for the Scarborough Board of Education for almost 20 years.  His carpentry skills were 'second to none'.  He was also a talented mechanic.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 64 years, five adult children, Richard (Laura), Shaunielle (Milton), Peter (Barbara), Ellinor (Irving), Leslie Jr. (Elizabeth); eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
