Our hearts are breaking for the loss of Don, and I truthfully am struggling to find the "right" words, because there just aren't any.
I will forever remember Don as a friendly face who has such a welcoming presence about him. Sharon, you and Don have always accepted James on your family outings, and I know he will cherish these memories, thank you.
Please know that we are here for you all in your time of grief, and we are thinking of you and praying that you find comfort in knowing how much Don was loved and adored by all who met him.
Lovingly, The McCarthy's xoxo

Sharon and Family
My sincere sympathy to the family on your loss. I met Don when I was also a trustee on the Ottawa Catholic Separate School Board from 1988-1997. This was my first time running for elected office and Don was always helpful to me if I had any questions regarding the job I was elected to do.
Again, my sincere sympathy to you Sharon and the entire family.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to you Sharon, Donald, Graham and families. I have so many fond memories of Don. He loved our dinner get togethers and a fine bottle of red wine when he could enjoy it. He loved his sports and we shared many conversations about our team predictions no matter what the sport. Don was always cheerful and I enjoyed his telephone visits. His death will leave a big void to all of you but cherish your wonderful memories of a great man and friend.
In love and friendship
Margie
