Obituary of John Boorsma

The Lord took unto Himself on Wednesday October 22, 2014, our beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, John Boorsma, at 72 years of age. Born in Wierum, The Netherlands on April 21, 1942. He emigrated to Canada in June of 1960. Dear husband of Winnie. Loving Father of Peter & Sandy, Sharon & Allan, Michael & Carolyn and Reneta. Pake to grandchildren Heather, Kyra, Damien, Rachel, Joshua and Aaron. Brother of Elly, Jaap, Rennie, Annie and Thea, all of the Netherlands.

Service

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Friday October 24, 2014 from 6-8 pm. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held at REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 130 Scugog St., Bowmanville on Saturday October 25, 2014 at 11 am. Private Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to a Charity of your Choice.
