Obituary of Cornelia Petronella Van den Enden

CORNELIA (CORRY) VAN DEN ENDEN November 17, 1929 to October 10, 2020 Corry passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 10, 2020 at Lakeridge Bowmanville Hospital at the age of 90. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends in Canada and Holland. Corry was sister to Nel, Arnold, Riet, Til, Aad and Frans. Loving wife to Adrian for 64 years (June 2017) and mother to 8 kids and a wonderful mother in law – Dorothy and Jeff, (Gord/ Sept 2002), Hilda and Michael, John and Cathy, Frances, Maggie (Oct 2013), Art and Yvonne, Rob and Linda, and Michael (1990). Grandmother to 16 and great grandmother to 13 children – Mathew and Melissa/ Boston and Bronx, Adrian and Lisa/ Ellis and Emerson, Lachlan/ Addy, Max and Dania, Rob and Lisa/ Callie and Brooke, Brad, Stephen and Christine/Jasmine and Adrian, Fiona and Michael/Nicolas, Gigi, Erika and Alan, Michael, Quinton, Danielle and Granville, Chris and Payton, Laura, Patricia, Akeelah and Jai. She was also known as ‘Tante Corry’ to many nieces and nephews in Holland and Canada. A private family gathering will be held at Rosemount Cemetery, in Peterborough. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to Mom’s favorite charities, Meals on Wheels or Alzheimer's Society.
