Obituary of Brian Arthur Gaherty

BRIAN ARTHUR GAHERTY PROFESSOR OF ENGINERRING Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Thursday April 16th, 2020 just shy of his 93rd birthday. Beloved husband of Genevieve “Gen” Gaherty (nee Doherty) for 67 years. Adored and cherished by their only child, Catherine Gaherty. Brian is survived by his brothers Michael & Barbara Gaherty and Patrick & Faye Gaherty and their families, all of England. He was predeceased by his sister Eileen & Ken. At the family’s request no formal funeral service will be held. Interment will be held at Bowmanville Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville, Ontario.
