It is with heartfelt sadness, the family of Jack announces his sudden passing at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Sunday January 6, 2019
Jack was the beloved husband of the late Alice for 65 wonderful years. Cherished dad of Brenda (Gord Tripp), Bonnie (Wayne Myers), Randy, Michael and Barb (Gino Del Gobbo). Predeceased by his son Garf and survived by his daughter in law Ina. Dear brother of Marg Henderson and the late Lois Nichols, Reta Broome and Ron Burgess. Jack is dearly loved by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, many relatives and friends & his dog Sky.
Special thanks to the staff on the 1st Floor at Bowmanville Hospital for their kindness and care during his short stay, especially Taylor, Terra, Emma, Ashley, Erin and Sandy.
Visitation will be held at the NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Wednesday January 9, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday January 10, 2019 at 2 pm, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital or St. Paul's United Church.
