Obituary of William Gerrit F. Veeneman

Passed away peacefully at home, with his wife at his side, on Saturday, November 05, 2016. Beloved husband of Anne for almost 44 years, father to Melanie (Scott) Dafoe, Dion (Tamara) Veeneman, Anneka (Ross) Chambers and proud Opa to Kyle, Jessica, Lucas & Alexandra Veeneman, Caleb & soon to be brother/sister Chambers. Baby brother to Judith Vanderheide and Gary Veeneman, brother in law to Evelyn Veeneman, Connie Heinhuis, John & Darlene Pippel, Gil & Susan Pippel, Herb & Joanne Pippel, Mary & Brian Kok, Marg & Stan Speerstra Will also be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews a large extended family, many friends and co-workers. His children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews will fondly remember all the times he spent with them on the lake patiently driving the boat so they could learn to water-ski and tube, and baiting endless fishing poles so they could catch a fish off the dock, tasks that he delighted in. Bill will be remembered for his love of God, his family and his calm, easy going nature, his love of golf and fishing and mostly for the way in which he shared of himself and all that he had with his extended family and friends. His prayer and concern for all was that they could face the future with as much confidence and trust as he himself had for an eternity with God. To all who knew him and loved him what he would want for each of you is to remember to live each day fully, in good times and bad and to always be thankful for the many blessings in your lives. Fear the LORD, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. ~Psalm 34:9
