Obituary of Case Van Wees

Passed away peacefully following a brief illness on Sunday November 20th at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Born in Oudorp, Netherlands in 1932, he was a soldier during the North Sea Flood of 1953. He immigrated to Canada in 1960 and started All Green Sod Growers in 1964. Having a curious mind, he never stopped traveling and exploring during his Sunday drives. Sadly missed by his wife of 54 years, Bep (Vendrig), and children Carla, Robert and Jennifer, Lia and Wade. Loving Opa of Ethan, Alyssa, Samantha, Taya, Finley and Marcus. Dear brother of +Wim (Mieke), +Marie (+Wim), +Jan (Riet), Anny (Henk), +Peter (Truus), +Bart (Wil), Jaap (Jeanne), Tiny (Nic) and +Ton. Brother-in-law of +Jan (Ton), Riet (Phiel), Gert (Riet), +Henk (+Wil), +Ab (Truus), Geert (Siem), Wim (Agaath), Mien (+Paul), Anneke (Gert), +Arie (Els), Theo (+Rienk), Corrie. Ome Case’s dry sense of humour and laugh will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Service

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Case’s life being held on Sunday December 4th from 1:00-4:00 at The Centennial Building, 416 Centre Street South in Whitby. Memorial Donations in his memory may be made to Autism Canada. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville.
