KATHLEEN GERTRUDE “PEGGY” ABERNETHY (nee Kennedy) Passed away at Glenhill Strathaven Lifecare Centre on Saturday March 4, 2017 Loving wife of Douglas Abernethy. Loving mother of Ronald (Lorraine), David (Judy), Susan (Wayne), Jim (Cathy) and Janet (Dale) Marinoff. Dear sister of Noel Kennedy & David Kennedy. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A Celebration of her Life will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Saturday April 22nd, 2017 at 1 pm. Family and friends are welcome to gather from 12 – 1 pm. Memorial Donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society.
