Obituary of Susan Frances Rivers

(nee Pye) After a courageous battle with cancer, peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday November 19, 2016 in her 59th year, surrounded by her loving husband and four girls. Beloved wife of Tom, together for 24 years. Loving mother of Cassandra (Mike), Patricia (Miles), Elizabeth and Sarah (Christopher). Bohdan, Mykhaila and Roman will miss their Grandma Sue. Forever remembered by her siblings; Wayne (Alison), Gail (the late Wayne) Kean, David (Annie), Joyce Johnston and Diana (Mike Pabstel). Cherished daughter-in-law and friend of Norma “Peggy” Rivers. Predeceased by her parents, John & Marion Pye and her father-in-law, Noel Rivers. Susan was a devoted nursery school teacher at Pine Ridge Nursery School. She has influenced and impacted countless children over the past 21 years of her career.
