Obituary of Gilbert Denholm Moffatt

Gilbert Denholm Moffatt Sadly, on April 27, 2020 Gil passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 32 years, Joanne and his adopted son Rob. Prior, in 1953 he immigrated to Canada from Scotland. His girlfriend, Jess followed, and they married in 1956. They had two children; Karen and Rick. Although that marriage dissolved after 22 years everyone remained a family for all occasions. Gil was loved and admired by his son-in law, Kent and daughter-in-law, Tracy, along his grandchildren, Victoria, Alexandra, Connor, Graham, and step-granddaughter Victoria. Gil was a well-liked man who was very quick-witted making him fast with a joke. He loved his family, the beach, and boating on the water. Thus, the water will be his final resting place. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, his extended family, and his friends.
