Roger was an avid outdoorsman, hunted and fished while growing up in the Colborne area. Later in life Boating became his passion starting with a houseboat and many boats to follow. From the water to the snow Laura and Roger got their first dog Kuna part Siberian husky, then 5 more. Roger became a musher participating in club races for many years. After dogsledding Roger went back to his roots and started hunting again in his old stomping grounds in Colborne. Retirement came and camping became the focus of interest, trailered to Ontario’s Provincial Parks and occasional trip to the east coast . Needless to say Roger led a full life sharing it with his loving wife Laura and family.
