In his 89th year, slipped away peacefully in his sleep on December 24, 2022, to join his wife the late Elisabeth van den Wildenberg, his son Gerard and daughter, Henriette
Loving father of Corine, Jaci (Tim), Monique and daughter-in-law Debbie. Opa will also be missed by his grandchildren Erin (Ian), Shawna (Zachary), Kyle, Liam, Isaac, Caleb and his great grandchildren, Brodie and Noah. Richard will be sadly missed by his siblings, many nieces and nephews and good friends and colleagues.
Family and friends are welcome at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville, on Monday, January 2nd from 2 – 4 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty St. S. Bowmanville, on Tuesday, January 3rd at 10:30 am.
Richard will be interred with his wife and daughter Henriette in the Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the society of Saint Vincent de Paul or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville.
