Uncle Dennis, there are so many fond memories of the Jeffery, Noonan and Wilson’s family get togethers. From Scarborough to Bowmanville and even up to Espanola! You had a quiet but strong presence, always took an interest in what we were doing, and had a great sense of humour! Lots of love, you will be missed and remembered by so many xo

To Dennis’ children and brothers Frank and Ray. My sincere condolences on the passing of your father and brother. I grew up with with Dennis, Frank, Fred, and Ray in Treverton Park. From early elementary school to the end of high school, we lived a good stone’s throw to the Jeffery home. The street in front of their home was the Maple Leaf Gardens of street hockey. I am sure the phrase “car! Game on!” was coined on Oakworth in the mid to late 50s. Baseball, football, ice hockey were all part of the activities of the “T Clan”. A name possibly attributed to your uncle Frank.
Bumper surfing was a winter classic. When the roads were snow covered we would grab onto the rear bumper of a passing car and make our way from one end of the subdivision to the other. They were good times. Flooding the rink behind the Wright’s home Friday nights in preparation for the weekend scrimmage.
My brother Glenn and I departed Scarborough in the late 60s to attend university and never returned. So we lost touch with many of the Treverton gang. But there was no better place to grow up as a child and teenager than Treverton. Hopefully your father was able to pass on some of his memories from those days and the years at Midland Collegiate where he met Mary Lynn.
Thank you to Fred’s son Adam for keeping me informed of the passing of both Fred and Dennis. I have nothing but good memories of those years. It was a great group of kids.

To all the Jeffery family we are sorry to hear of Dennis's passing. I had so much fun with him and Marylynn countless times at dances, playing baseball, hanging out at 22 Kessack CT. and spending lots of summers up at the trailer park. He was a very kind person his door was open to everyone and he treated everyone like family. He was a great coach , hardworking family man who will be dearly missed. Love Dot and Randy
