My childhood best friend. Dean and I were neighbours and spent every day riding our bikes, playing hockey, climbing trees, getting into some innocent boyhood mischief. We were virtually inseparable until his health issues began and he had to spend what felt like a lot of time in Toronto. In our early teens our lives started to go in different directions but I often think fondly of those early years and our friendship. It looks like he had a good family life and I was sorry to hear of his passing. I learned of it from my brother who saw some school pictures that Bill had posted. I still have those pictures and whenever I look at them with my daughters I always point out my friend Dean. A nice trip down memory lane. May he rest in peace and I hope you have great memories of him to cherish as I do. Tom Player
