Brian Proctor

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Proctor of Oshawa.  Brian passed away at home unexpectedly at the age of 79 years.

Brian will be sorely missed by his family. Dear Father of Crystal, Esther (Eric), Stephen (Andrea) and Sarah (Luigi).  Cherished Grandfather to Devon, Ashley, Aidan, Brooklyn, Mikaela, Cassandra, Charlotte, Noah, Silas, and Owen.  He was predeceased by his parents John and Catherine Proctor. Beloved brother of John (Shirley, deceased), Al (Barb) and Debbie (Mark).

Brian was born in Blackpool, England and came to Canada with his parents at the age of 4.  Life was not always easy, but Brian sacrificed for his family, making sure they were provided for.  Brian worked as a mechanic for various automobile carriers and trucking companies.  Brian was the ultimate Mr. Fix It!  If there was a project that needed to be done, you had to look no further.  As a child he would take objects apart, only to put them back together again!  That talent, however, did not carry thru to modern technology!  He was a lover of animals, especially his 3 dogs as well as his family’s pets.  He enjoyed spending quiet time with his guitars and was a calm and reassuring figure for his family.  He will be missed.

A Graveside Service will be held at Bond Head Cemetery, Newcastle on Saturday March 2^nd, 2024 at 2 pm.
