Royston William Smart

Peacefully passed away at home with his family by his side on November 2^nd, 2023 at the age of 88 years.

Beloved wife of Jacqueline Smart.  Loving father of Allison Genosko (Bob).  Dear grandfather of Matthew Genosko (Natalie) and Victoria Genosko (Joey).  Great grandfather of Talula, Lottie and Hendrix.  Roy will be dearly missed by his sisters (Kath, Jenny and Sheila) and extended family in England.  As well by his sister in law Marion Milton and family in Canada.

No service will be held, but a celebration of life will be held on his birthday Monday November 6^th at Walsh’s The Snug (28 King Avenue East Newcastle) starting at 5 pm.  Raising our glasses to a wonderful husband and extraordinary man.  Donations can be made to the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society.   https://www.lakefieldanimalwelfare.org/memoriam_rwsmart/
