I have such fond memories of Frank. In the mid 70s I came from Alberta looking for some good Jerseys. Frank took me around the area looking at herds. He saved the best til last. Among others We purchased two members of his Bell family. They were the foundation of a good portion of our herd. Frank was a true gentleman.

Frank's mother Erna's maiden name was Wunderlich. She and my Opa were cousins. When my father's family came to Canada from Germany, Frank's parents Rudolf and Erna helped make it possible for my father's family to settle here.
As a boy, I remember riding my bike from Bowmanville to Eniskillen to visit with Erna. My father and I were pall bearers at her funeral.
In later years, Frank and my Mom and Dad socialized. Both Frank and my parents wrote interesting family histories which they assisted one another with.
My father died in December 2016 (Frank was at the funeral with his nephew Jeremy) and now Frank is gone too. I treasure the memories both men took the time to write and left for others to cherish.
With condolences,
Karl Wunderlich

To Tim, Sharon and family:
We were very sad to read of the passing of Mr. Stenger. We always thought a lot of him. He was such a gentle man, and I
have know him for a long time and my grandmother used to be a dear friend of his mother. He certainly was a well travelled
and knowledgeable man. I will miss him and so will you and your family.
He was very proud of his as it said, chosen family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Love Rena and Tom

Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Stenger family, and to his chosen family, Tim & Sharyn, Stephynie, Bruce, Daniel, Melyssa and Benjamin. We first met Frank back in the early 80's when he and Ruth took us, and our boys, under their wing at one of their farms. Over the years, yes, indeed we have been the recipient of his humor and his quick wit. He will be greatly missed.
Frank quite often popped over to the farm, in the spring, and planted trees. Thus, in his honor we will do the same.
Earl and Beth Dixon

While I only had a few interactions myself with Frank he was enigmatic and warm. He was very easy to talk to. My husband Stafford spent much time living and working/helping out. Our condolences to all of his family...by blood or otherwise.
