ALAN GREVILLE DOWNIE Age 90 years Surrounded by love and family, he passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday April 12, 2017 Beloved husband of the late Barbara. Loving father of Heather Downie (Bert Vervoort), Lori Freeman (Terry) and Rob Downie (Sue). Cherished Papa of Kristan Higgins (Matt), Nick Downie (Angelique Mitchell), Ashleigh Freeman, Quinn Downie (Steve Cirku) and Eric Downie (Bobbi-jo Sooley). Dear brother of Geoffrey Downie of England. Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday April 21st from 12 - 1 pm. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 pm. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby. Memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society.
