Obituary of Lynda Smith

After a courageous battle, peacefully passed away at home, with her family by her side, on Friday February 3, 2017, at the age of 67 years. Loving mother of Heather (Steve) Ormonde. Beloved spouse of Volker Germann and the late Stanley Smith. Much loved grandma of Alexandra, Ethan and Claire. Cherished sister of Laura Estwick, Bill (Penny) Austin and Rich (Anne) Austin. Dear aunt of Denise, Kelly, Amanda, Laura and great aunt of Kalysta and Charlotte. Fondly remembered by the Comeau & Germann families. Sadly missed by her dogs, Lacey & Molly. Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St., Bowmanville, on Monday February 6, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at 11 am. Memorial donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Foundation “Cancer Centre.”
