Obituary of William Lyle

In his 78th year Retired from the Clarington Fire Department after 38 years of service Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday June 22nd, 2010 Beloved husband of Jewel (nee Vivian). Dear father of Bill Jr. and Karen & her husband Ken Sherwood. Loving grandpa of Jeff and Jesse. Dear brother of Edith Bentley and Lou Lyle. Predeceased by his siblings Marion, Tom, Mary, Alex, Lucy, Doris, John & Barb. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He will be sadly missed by his faithful companions, Bailey & Abby. Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday June 25th, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. At Bill’s request, no Funeral Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or Memorial Hospital Foundation, Bowmanville.
