Obituary of John Harvey Griffith

Age 69 years Passed away suddenly on Thursday April 30th, 2015 Loving father of Kim (Shane) Jones and Dane (Ashley Damstra). Adored Grandpa of Jake and Emily. Dear son of Phyllis Lowery and predeceased by his father Harvey Griffith, step-father John Lowery and step-brother Wayne Lowery. Survived by his brother Bob (Pat) Griffith and step-sisters Catherine Switzer (the late Mel) and Brenda. He will be lovingly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street Bowmanville on Tuesday May 5th, 2015 from 6 – 8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 130 Scugog Street on Wednesday May 6th, 2015 at 1 pm. Private Interment Orono Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Jumpstart or Discovery Church. And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir. Galatians 4 : 6 – 7
