Obituary of John Davis

Age 86 years Peacefully passed away, with his family by his side at Fairhaven Nursing Home, Peterborough on Father’s Day, Sunday June 15th, 2014 Beloved husband of Shirley (Myles) Davis. Loving father of Sherryl Barrett (Alan Brookes), Karen Talkachoff (Alex) and Jackelyn Forsey (Rick). Loving Papa of Dwayne Barrett (Janice), Carol Barker (Ken), Dana Barrett (Christine), Robert Harness (Kathy), Cori-Ann Canuel (Jason), Dustin Forsey (Lindsay) and Chad Forsey. Great Papa of Kloe, Abbie, Evin, Davis, Cameron, Nicholas, Jackson, Lily, Seth and Travis. Fondly remembered by his sister Florence Burke (Des). John grew up in Newmarket, and lived in Bowmanville and Havelock. He was a General Motors employee prior to retirement. He enjoyed many family gatherings at Oak Lake and their time in Florida. He will always be with us through all our many wonderful memories.
