Obituary of Eileen Margaret Amirault

Born the first daughter after four sons on November 28, 1921, our mother, Eileen Margaret Amirault, (Ryan) was quickly nicknamed “Pearl” by her father. On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, Peal died surrounded and enfolded in the love of her daughters Dyan and Jocelyne. Pearl was predeceased by her loving husband, Ernest James, on January 17, 1990, and her beloved son, Stephen Anthony, on March 25, 2013. She leaves behind to mourn her death – her daughters Dyan and Jocelyne (Len), her grandchildren Kevin (Theressa), Christian (Erica), and Korey (Michelle). She will also be lovingly remembered by her seven great-grandchildren, Tyrus, Brody, Keeley, Payton, Nevaeh, Raelyn and Alarys. Pearl loved her family, her friends, watching the water, be it an ocean or a lake, a glass of wine, animals of all kinds, McDonald’s coffee, and of course, pearls. We would like to express our thanks to Harmony Estate Retirement Home, especially Mary Squires and her excellent staff; to CCAC Durham East; to Jackie Zurba, who was Mum’s special friend and caregiver for the last five years. Also, we would like to express our thanks to all the wonderful friends and people who shares Pearl’s life throughout the years.
